Wrist Circumference Measurement
Many friends often ask me about custom Rudraksha mala (prayer beads) and how to measure the wrist circumference accurately. Today I have sorted out all relevant issues about customization to explain them clearly to everyone.
Customizing a Rudraksha mala (prayer beads) can be complex or simple, and the key is to find the right artisan and state your requirements clearly. I usually confirm several details with the customer first, and then start selecting beads and stringing the mala.

Wrist Circumference Measurement Methods for Custom Rudraksha Mala (Prayer Beads)
First, we need to clarify the requirements: wrist size, preferred grain, approximate budget, and any preference for skin color or bead shape. Only after these are settled can I select the seeds properly. Many people just say "make me a mala" right away, and that really can't be done—we need to communicate clearly first.
Once the requirements are set, seed selection begins. From a batch of raw seeds, those with similar size, shape, grain / texture, and skin color are selected. This step takes the most time, usually three to five days. During selection, I will take photos for you to see, and we proceed only after you confirm.
The final step is drilling and stringing. The mala (prayer beads) is strung according to your wrist size, the tightness is adjusted, accessories are added, and after inspection it is shipped. Before shipping, finished product photos and videos will be sent to you for confirmation.
The entire customization cycle is generally 5 to 7 days, with most of the time spent on bead selection. The advantages of customization are that the size fits your wrist perfectly, the quality of the beads is guaranteed, and the overall effect is much better than mass-produced malas from physical stores.

Customization Notes
There are several notes for customization: First, measure your wrist circumference accurately by wrapping a soft measuring tape around the thickest part of your wrist, neither too tight nor too loose. Second, state your budget clearly in advance, as the quality of beads varies greatly at different price points.
Third, be clear about your preference for grain/texture. Honeycomb, double-dragon, plum blossom, and dragon-pattern each have their own characteristics—specify which style you prefer. Fourth, if you need accessories, mention it in advance; spacers, guru beads, back spacers, etc., can all be matched.
Fifth, after customization, if the size is not suitable, you can adjust it for free once. So try it on after receiving it, and contact us in time if it doesn't fit.
A few casual remarks
In fact, customizing a Rudraksha (large) mala (prayer beads) is like this: communicate your needs clearly, wait patiently for seed selection, and finally receive a mala that fits your hand well. Although it is a bit more expensive and slower than buying ready-made goods directly, the quality and fit are guaranteed.
If anyone wants a custom piece, feel free to reach out and chat. Just explain your requirements clearly, and I'll recommend a suitable plan for you. With cultural playthings, what catches your eye matters most—what suits you is what's good.
